Name: Galbrok Stormcaller
Race: Tauren
Class: Shaman
Professions: Herbalism and Alchemy
Personality: Quiet and reserved, prefers anonymity.
Background/History: Galbrok is a bit of a quiet bull. He really doesn't want any attention and thus does not divulge information on his past willingly. He spent most of his youth exploring the world he knew, most times separated from his tribe. His goal was to find himself and his place within the world. His travels took him almost all over Kalimdor before he was called back to his tribe due to his ailing father. When he returned, he found his tribe in a mourning state. His father, the chieftain, was passing, and it would not be long until the Earth Mother came to reclaim him.
Galbrok returned and visited his father upon his deathbed. It was here that his father passed the title of Chieftain over to Galbrok. Galbrok, did what he could to convince his father that he was not ready, but the Chieftain would hear nothing of it. The tribe was to be passed down to another of the blood line and Galbrok was the only remaining blood. He accepted it with a heavy heart, and took up the position of chieftain. Although he did not want it, he did so because it was necessary and to assure the tribe had a leader.
As time passed, the numbers of the Stormcallers continued to decline. As the elders began settling in Red Cloud Mesa to await their time to join the spirit realm, Galbrok and the rest of the tribe continued on with their nomadic ways. Their journeys led them to meet the Earthspear Tribe, another tauren tribe whose numbers were also weakening. Sensing strength in their chieftain Huatar, and two of their leading members Eiada and Onatak, Galbrok proposed that the tribes merge into one tribe under one banner. This was agreed upon by leaders of both tribes, and Galbrok volunteered to give up his chieftain status and follow Huatar.
The elders of the Stormcaller Tribe found this to be less than desirable. They felt it was Galbrok's youth and selfishness that led to this decision. The elders felt that he simply did not want to lead and was willing to put himself before the tribe. This was looked down upon by the majority of the elders who had settled in Red Cloud Mesa, but they are also quick to acknowledge that Galbrok was chieftain, and therefore they honor his decision. Although, they do not mind letting him hear their dislike for it. That being said, they do like the Earthspear Tribe. They see them as honorable and noble allies. They just fear that the Stormcaller name will be forgotten as time passes.
All this matters little to Galbrok though. He did what he felt he had to do. He made the decision, which benefited both tribes, and he sticks by it. His people are now safer, as are the Earthspear because of the increased number of tribe members. He did it for the better of two tribes, but he also did it for himself. He won't openly admit it though. He knows his decision benefits himself, and deep down he knows that his selfishness held more weight than he will admit. It is an internal conflict he struggles with daily and rarely talks about except to those closest to him.
With the Stormcallers welcomed in by the Earthspear, Galbrok once again set out on his own to explore new lands in search of his place in this world. Only this time, he does so under a different banner.
