Name: Onatak Brokenhorn
Race: Tauren
Class: Druid
Birthplace: The Barrens
Homeplace: Thunder Bluff
Personality: Onatak is a quiet bull, preferring to keep to himself and shying away from attention. Taking time to warm up to new people, he seems rather introverted if not borderline rude.
Physical Appearance: Average height, weight, and build for one of his kind. His fur is a dark brown, with faint traces of white on his forearms and hands. His left horn is broken in half, though judging by the weathered end it would seem the injury did not occur recently.
History: Born into a tribe of skilled craftsman specializing in working with animal bone, when word reached Onatak's tribe of the green skinned newcomers from across the sea, the Bonehorns lay down their tools and picked up their war totems and spears to investigate for themselves.
Finding they had much in common with the Orcs and Darkspear trolls, the Bonehorns quickly joined the Bloodhoofs in aiding their new allies. Onatak's travels took him north through Kalimdor, where he participated in numerous skirmishes against strange, other races. Eventually an uneasy truce was called between the warring factions, and Onatak found himself on the Kaldorei summit of Mount Hyjal. Though many of his tribe brothers were slain during the epic battle, the united forces of Azeroth beat back the Burning Legion though Onatak himself lost his left horn fighting a undead, stitched horror.
In the short, uneasy peace afterwards, Onatak sought out the strange elven druids that he had seen fight so valiantly at the summit. Impressed by their close ties to nature, Onatak returned to his homelands. With the plains of Mulgore secured for the Tauren, the surviving members of the Bonehorn tribe were kept busy for months carving and shaping kodo bone for tools and building materials for their new home. It was during this time Onatak came to meet a quiet, reserved Tauren woman named Eiada. The two soon had fallen for one another, and after a month's time they wed under a full moon with her father's blessing.
Time passed and soon the Tauren's permanent settelements were complete. With his people no longer forced to live a nomadic lifestyle, the need for skilled boneworkers diminished and Onatak soon found himself bored and listless. His tribe disbanded and filtered into other tribes, Onatak took on the name 'Brokenhorn' in memory of his adventures during the Third War. His memories of Hyjal and the elven druids soon resurfaced however upon hearing of Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem had taken residence on the Elder Rise and was instructing interested Tauren in the ways of druidism.
After some thought, he announced to his wife Eiada that he would study under the elders, a decision she supported and even journeyed with him. Spending the next several years in study, the two have recently begun to explore the lands outside of Mulgore and even Kalimdor itself, lending aid and continuing to do the Earth Mother's will where needed.
Additional Info: Onatak has a strong mistrust and dislike for Forsaken and Sin'Dorei, believing them to be nothing more than walking corpses and demon tainted elves. Though he longs for the day that the High Chieftan and Warchief change their minds, he has recently started to at the very least be civil towards them in efforts to placate his wife.
