E'lu shuffles over to Rhumal, his feathered hind claws dragging in the dirt. He stares Rhumal in the eye for a moment, and then reaches down and begins sketching tauren hieroglyphs into the dirt.
The moonkin draws a leaf, a lightning bolt, and a claw equally spaced in a triangle. He draws lines between the three to emphasize the equality and balance between the three. E'lu points at Rhumal, and then at the leaf. He utters a faint sound of approval, but then points at the other two and shakes his head. Beside the three hieroglyphs, he sketches the rough shape of Northrend, and marks an 'X' somewhere in the eastern part of the Howling Fjord region. He then points at the lighting bolt and claw, the X, and Rhumal.
E'lu clucks dismissively, and walks away.
(( Okay, I think I was fairly clear in the IC description, but I'm going to give you a rundown OOCly to make sure it's all good.
E'lu wants to teach Rhumal that all druids must support the balance- This includes both the healing of the world, and the culling of evil from it. The region he points out on the map is roughly where the Dark Iron Dwarves are excavating and enslaving Earth Giants in the Howling Fjord. He is effectively asking Rhumal to get out there and do something about it.
I think you're around the right level to handle it, or if not you will be pretty soon. If you don't want to do it ingame, feel free to write up a forum post of Rhumal doing his rites.
If you don't like these rites, feel free to ask for a different set.))

Rhumal studies the moonkin's glyphs and drawings intently, then nods his head. "I shall attend to it and travel to Northrend." ((Gotcha I'll probably do it and write something up as well.

Rhumal's Report
My journey to Northrend has been one both pleasant and uncomfortable. The sights are truly something to behold, and I hope that never does this land become marred as some others have that were once beautiful as well. The cold is something that I will have to take time and care to become accustomed to. No doubt that further conversation with our Taun'ka cousins will guide my steps upon the proper path to adapting to this environment. The only unpleasantry comes from the ferocity and strength of the land's creatures and inhabitants. I am confident that while I may not prosper here yet, I will manage for now.
After speaking a bit with a fellow chef at the place called Vengeance Landing--who also gave me some tips on how to best cook the foods up here at the top of the world--I found myself with directions to the excavation site of some dwarven-sounding person. The travel there was fairly short, with my paws making quick work of the surprisingly well-kept roads and paths. After descending some contraption with iron chains similar to one of our Lifts, I found myself down by the icy waters of the sea. All about were the noises of strange, flabby creatures on the shoreline, bawling and roaring as seemed their custom. They warranted investigation, but their time was later.
I continued along towards the base of the cliffs until the great digging could be seen. I have seen dwarven excavations before, but this one was truly immense, as it covered a massive section of the cliff from hoof to horn. Great scaffolds now cover its pick-rent surface, and a great figure emerges from the stone, very ancient even to my eye, untrained in such archaeologies. With broken fingers, the man- or dwarf-like creature reaches out towards the sea with a stern expression upon his face. I approached to get a better look and saw the earth-elementals of which I had been informed of. They seemed quite agitated, and as I took on the guise of a cat, I managed to creep in closer.
I have seen the "Dark Iron" dwarves before, but these seemed different even from they. Their flesh is unlike flesh, and they have a blue or green tint about them; something I am entirely unfamiliar with. With them are golems who also bear a blue-green coloring, and these I have watched doing battle with the earth-elementals, usually with victory. After watching a golem destroy an elemental, I attempted to assail it, but with only marginal success. They possess a measure of elemental protection themselves, and are completely invulnerable to all of my nature-borne attacks, particularly the roots which I normally use to inhibit a foe's movement. Subject to the creature's battering attacks, I only narrowly defeated it before retreating to heal myself.
I was fortunate that the "dwarves" themselves have no such invulnerability, but they are still strong, and the golems are always nearby as attendants or guardians. I have noted the dwarves possess many small, blue crystals. These I am unsure about, though given the significance that most crystals seem to have in the Outlands, I am certain that these have some importance. What that is, I do not know. Also, upon the ground near the feet of the stone-man/dwarf, there is a marking of some metal or other substance that glows with an orange light. Its meaning I am also unsure of.
Because of the strength of the golems and their dwarven masters, and because I cannot identify any effective way of neutralizing them without outside help, I present the results of my rite to my tribal leaders. I ask forgiveness that I could not do more, but I find myself able to do no more than what I have done.
Sun-spirit's blessings, Rhumal Sunfist
(((Edited the last line.)))
