Seriously, we need to have some before too long. With the Wind-Talk event being planned to be very soon (We need the affirmation of the entirety of the active portion of our guild, or at least the majority of it, in order to successfully plan and execute the event), we're running dry on new event ideas. Story Circle has been a resounding success ever since the server first began, but pretty soon it's going to become stale and not attract as much attention as it did two months ago.
The idea I currently have planned and thought up is an open RP march from Thunder Bluff through the Barrens and into Thousand Needles, mainly for a peaceful tromp through the three zones but also to fight against the Grimtotem Tribe on the mesas and plateaus down in Needles.
Another idea is something that I came to love back on Moon Guard; the Banepaw Fellowship hosted a weekly event over the weekday called "Thunder Drum," which was basically an outdoor pub and celebration in Bloodhoof Village. This would take a lot of coordination and a lot of resources to pull off, but at this point I would gladly do anything to get the guild's RP up and off the ground after these two months.
We definitely need more of a reason to see each other In-Character rather than attending the weekly Story Circle and Meeting. Also, more people need to come to these forums. (I think everyone that's currently in the guild as of right now is registered, but I'm not entirely sure)

The "Thunder Drum" thing sounds fun, but but maybe we could extend from an outdoor pub to more of a party held every week or every other week. Like an outdoor barbeque (totally spelled that wrong) type thing.
Also, since the Tauren honor their ancestors, we could probably work some kind of guild event around that. Maybe a pilgrimage to burial sites or something, iunno.

The pilgrimage idea sounds good, as a tribal event (guild only). There is a Tauren graveyard near the ancestral grounds in The Barrens, it could be used for this RP purpose I believe.

I was thinking more along the lines of a longer journey, not just one gravesite. That could be our first stop, but I was thinking we could visit a couple every week and over time go to other places that make sense for tauren burial sites. Maybe a place just for someone's RP as well (krol's tribe was slaughtered and their corpses burned, never buried, so maybe we would go to where that happened; just an example).
I definitely like the outdoor party one, though. Seems like it'd be pretty easy to do, too.

There could be a pilgrimage to the Kodo Graveyard in... desolace? I think it's there, that or Feralas. Would be harder for the lower levels, but with enough heigh levels to 1 hit ko some of the mobs, might not be all that terrible... But yeah, a journey to the Kodo Graveyard to honor the Great Kodo! <3

The Kodo Graveyard is in Desolace, yeah. That's a good idea.
